With the inevitable innovation of new craft beers, it’s often hard for people to stick solely to their holy grails. There are so many new craft beers to try, and of course you don’t want the FOMO (Fear of Missing Out)! Here at gotbeer.com we’re all for innovation when it comes to new age craft beers, but this new Twitter campaign really caught our eye and we were all for it.
This month, globally renowned beer journalist Stephen Beaumont decided to create a campaign called “Flagship February” on Twitter. Beaumont stated, “In this mad rush towards the unusual and unknown, we tend to forget the great, familiar and still-wonderful beers that guided us all along the path of the craft beer renaissance.” This month we’re all about sticking to our roots and paying homage to the craft beers that were the foundation for our now mature and selective palates.
What do you have to do to participate? This month we encourage you to support some of your noteworthy classic brands when you’re out with friends or pick up some of these classics at your local beverage center: Sierra Nevada Pale Ale, Samuel Adams Boston Lager, Yuengling Lager, the list goes on and on….
