Throughout the month of February, we will be posting our appreciation for our “Flagship February” favorites. Here are our top 5 Flagships:
Blue Moon- Belgian White
A refreshing, medium-bodied, unfiltered Belgian-style wheat ale spiced with fresh coriander and orange peel for a uniquely complex taste and an uncommonly smooth finish. The name Belgian White is a reference to the cloudy white, opaque appearance of the beer. Belgian White also refers to the style of beer, which has been brewed in Belgium for about 300 years. (ABV: 5.2%)
Famous for its rich amber color and medium-bodied flavor with roasted caramel malt for a subtle sweetness and a combination of cluster and cascade hops, this true original delivers a well-balanced taste with very distinct character. Born from a historic recipe that was resurrected in 1987, Yuengling Traditional Lager is a true classic. (ABV: 4.4%)
Sam Adams- Boston Lager
Complex and balanced, with a beautiful hop aroma. This deep amber to golden colored full bodied lager displays caramel sweet notes balanced with distinct citrus and piney notes. A strong, smooth finish and mouth feel. (ABV: 4.9%)
Sierra Nevada- Pale Ale
It took Sierra Nevada Brewery founders Ken Grossman and Paul Camusi 11 TRIES to perfect their original Pale Ale in 1981. Sierra Nevada Pale Ale is a delightful interpretation of a classic style. It has a deep amber color and an exceptionally full-bodied, complex character. (ABV: 5.6%)
Anchor- Steam Beer
Anchor Steam, the classic of American brewing tradition since 1896, is virtually handmade, with an exceptional respect for the ancient art of brewing. It derives its unusual name from the 19th century when steam seems to have been a nickname for beer. (ABV: 4.9%)
